El suelo, los jeans, los interruptores del estudio. Primero fueron fondos acrílicos, tonos pastel y otros flúor. Ahora es óleo, que no hay quien quite de la ropa. Marta De la Fuente está lejos, aislada a ratos del mundo a través de sus lienzos, cada vez más expansivos, buscando rescatar fragmentos de su memoria. O quizás de la de todos. Con un trazo hipnótico, recrea escenas cotidianas, a veces folclóricas, capturando la esencia de su infancia y sus recuerdos en un salto hacia la nostalgia, tratando de regresar a los días felices a través de sus colores y pinceles. Su estilo es contemporáneo, su temática, atemporal. Sus cuadros nos invitan a entrar en su película, donde una señora con nikes nuevas juega a la tragaperras o dos jubilados morenos de solarium disputan una partida de ajedrez al sol del mediterráneo. En ocasiones, se inspira en fotos amateur tomadas con un iPhone 13 Pro; otras veces, en personajes creados por inteligencia artificial, apoyándose en un imaginario abigarrado que fusiona y actualiza la cultura popular de los 90 y la estética labriega de la Castilla más profunda, donde Marta pasó su juventud. Nunca ha pisado una escuela de pintura ni un taller. Su técnica, aunque realista, escapa de la rigidez académica; Marta pinta por puro instinto, buscando más la autenticidad que la pulcritud. “El arte y el diseño siempre tuvieron una enorme presencia en mi casa, crecí entre lienzos y pinceles. Para nosotras pintar era algo tan natural, como comer. No he dejado de pintar nunca. Cada vez me ayuda más a expresar cómo veo el mundo y se ha convertido en mi refugio. Mi obsesión son los retratos (por ahora). A mi madre le encantaban los pintores clásicos costumbristas y supongo que por eso conecto tanto con este formato. Me encanta observar a la gente, analizar sus gestos y muecas. Me siento poderosa al imprimirle mi toque artístico a esos momentos cotidianos.” De alguna forma, Marta rinde homenaje a la enseñanza de su madre, la maestra que, entre lechazos y mandilones, le reveló el mundo de la pintura. Su padre, que abandonó la carrera de bellas artes para dedicarse a la arquitectura, le transmitió los aspectos más técnicos del dibujo y el diseño. Papá la forma, mamá el color y el movimiento. Su obra se convierte así en un diálogo entre generaciones. Abuelos en el ocaso de la vida, escenas cotidianas impregnadas de ternura; cada obra es un eslabón en la cadena de la memoria colectiva que Marta traza con finura. Durante un tiempo, su obsesión fue descifrar un mensaje o un conflicto en sus obras. Ahora, está dejándose llevar, permitiéndose fluir y capturando en sus cuadros las sutilezas, ocurrencias y personajes singulares que la cautivan e inspiran. Sus lienzos celebran las costumbres y la añoranza, como ese olor que te transporta a un momento muy concreto del pasado. Lexus. “Itadakimasu" いただきます La comida es algo más que alimento. Es un portal a recuerdos, lugares y momentos atrapados en el tiempo. Un bocado puede llevarte de vuelta a la cocina de tu abuela, a una cena con amigos o a un viaje donde descubriste un sabor inesperado. Últimamente, la artista ha estado explorando esa conexión entre gastronomía y memoria a través de la pintura. La intención es que esta obra no solo se viera, sino que se sintiera, que despertara emociones y teletransportara a quien la observe, como lo hace un plato bien hecho. Itadakimasu (¡Buen provecho! en japonés) es una obra que transforma el RZ de Lexus en un cuaderno de bitácora, narrando un viaje culinario que entrelaza España y Japón y nos acerca a la cultura que inspira a la marca. El proyecto se estructura como un collage mezclando diferentes momentos del viaje: el trayecto, los paisajes que se desdibujan en movimiento, los ingredientes y oficios que dan vida a cada plato, y el ritual de comer, ya sea en el silencio meditado de un restaurante de sushi o en la animada sobremesa española. En la obra, las imágenes se fragmentan y se entremezclan según la perspectiva, tal como lo hacen nuestros recuerdos, mostrando cómo la experiencia de comer no solo nos conecta con nosotros mismos y nuestros orígenes, sino también sirviendo de puente para entender y conectar con quienes comparten la mesa. Esta obra es, en esencia, un homenaje a la gastronomía y a la dedicación de cocineros y artesanos shokunin que han perfeccionado sus oficios a lo largo de generaciones. Es también un reflejo de cómo Lexus ha aplicado su filosofía kaizen en sus creaciones durante más de 30 años, impulsando la mejora continua y el mimo en cada detalle. Este proyecto se convierte en una invitación a vivir cada trayecto y cada bocado como un descubrimiento, a conectar con quienes nos rodean, a recordar que lo más valioso de la vida son esos instantes y sabores que nos transforman y nos llevamos dentro. Necesitamos creer, más que nunca porque nos ayuda a rellenar un hueco desde que Dios ha muerto y la mala suerte nos acompaña como una sombra en este mundo destartalado. ¡EL DIABLO! La carta que puede cambiar tu destino aparece con un dilema. ¿Creer o dudar? Sentirse seguras bajo la sabia mirada de una tarotista, rodeadas de energías que pueden diseñar tu vida, marcarla en un voltear de cartas. El diablo como máxima representación del libre albedrío en el arcano mayor número 15. Libertad de elegir. Libertad de entregarte a un símbolo. Libertad de perdernos en el misterio. La libertad es un chivo expiatorio que puede cambiar el rumbo de tu existencia en una sesión donde eres esclavo de tus percepciones. En lo profundo nos atamos para vivir sumisos y aliviar el peso de nuestra propia responsabilidad.
